Functional and creative woodturnings using local woods and burls.
I learned the basics of woodturning at Simcoe High School 70 years ago. I built a sailboat in the 1960s and began making furniture, thereby learning much about woods and finishes. In the 1970s, I bought a lathe and began to turn wood seriously in the 1990s. I have been with the Studio Tour since it started. I have shown my work at Norfolk Arts Centre, Lighthouse Theatre, Port Dover Library, Market Street Gallery, former Vittoria Art & Wood Show, and Norfolk County Fair.
