I started learning (and I am still learning) to play the guitar at age 12.(1970) At this same time I looked forward to Industrial Arts class with Mr. Al Milne at Elgin Ave school in Simcoe where I had my first lessons in woodworking. I graduated forestry school in 1984 and worked in the woods for a few years. Then in 1989 I started working with the woods as a cabinet maker and carpenter. These skills led me to where I am at now. I am self taught with help from a few books. I have been building guitars for 19 years. My last showing was at the Artsco. competition at the Norfolk County Fair in 2018.
